Closet Chronicles: My Favorite Pieces

I realize that I have a few favorite pieces that I love to style and I just can’t get rid of in my closet. I wouldn’t say they are essential, but they are perfect to have when I have no idea what to wear.

Something White

The first two pieces that I can not get rid of are my white jeans and white sweatshirt! I wear white when I want and how I want, and I believe it matures my look.

When I want to look “gussed” up, I love throwing on my structured¬†trench coat. It always adds that pizzazz that my outfits might be missing.

Cropped

I was nervous about trying out cropped anything when this trend came back. However, I found a company that catered toward women with curves and I haven’t second-guessed owning a crop top since.

The best part about crop tops is that you can pair them with any and everything you have, as long as you follow the color analysis that is perfect for your skin tone. In this case, the mint green popped on my warm undertones.

Again, adding pieces to a crop top can create many looks that could be worn for any occasion.

Neutrals

I think everyone should own pieces of clothing that are apart of the neutral family. They are easy to pair with other neutral colors, and sometimes, I don’t feel like dressing up in color.

What are some of your favorite pieces that you can’t let go of? Let me know in the comments below!
